Hello,

I’m Sophie

Cameras and photographs have been part of my life since birth. Endless childhood videos in storage and family photos spread around the house is one of the many things I’m so grateful my parents did for us.

God is and always will be number one in my life. He is everything to me, my worth and identity is found in Him. He has my undivided heart.

Dishes are my least favourite job ever but hand me the washing and I’ll do that any day.

My life includes a lot of my whānau (family), not enough holidays, watching decent comedy shows and cooking up a storm in the kitchen while listening to some soft jazz.

I’m so happy you’re here and I hope to meet you soon!

Photographs aren’t just light reacting to chemicals on paper, but a time machine. A way to remember, a way to understand and a way to see and feel what’s important to you. I believe that photographs are the one thing people forget, but the one thing that shouldn’t be forgotten.

Wherever your journey takes you, it would be my privilege to be there.

I want to turn up, not just to take pictures but create something memorable with you. Something that’ll last a lifetime, photographs that you can keep close and show your generations to come. Because you are worth being remembered, you are worth being photographed.

I love watching how much people love and can be loved. I like eyes closed and quiet moments. I like the bear hugs you give your children, when you’ve got the giggles, smile lines and passionate kisses.

So, let’s create an honest experience together, explore nature while the hills turn golden, hop our way through paddocks as the sun sets, or get sand between our toes when the sun rises.

This is your legacy, let me capture your story, your adventure.
