Phil and Kitty – Central London

A little glimpse into my first shoot in London. In London people!! This is such a dream come true moment for me. When I first was like right, I'm a photographer, one of my goals was to shoot overseas. It didn't matter what I was shooting, I just craved the opportunity and experience. And here we are, six years later. So many prayers and hard work behind the scenes leads to moments of pure joy on the streets of London.

I was so nervous though. There is a lot to think about for shoots like this. It's not as easy as rocking up to a beach in New Zealand, instead there are many variables, different light, strangers, random sounds coming from all directions and travel time negotiations. And as the atmosphere and working to help clients feel super comfortable during sessions is something I find important – I'm incredibly stoked with this outcome. I do have to say also, having some wonderful humans to hang with did help. Kitty and Phil, you both are kind, genuine and a joy to photograph. It makes me so happy to have had the privilege to photograph these little moments for you in the place you call home.
