Brad, Chelsea and Louie – Upper Moutere

It was wet, it was wild and it was wonderful and it was with the soon to be Auld's.

Visiting from Aus meant these guys had a limited time in Nelson for some updated family photos, and of course this is when the weather chooses not to cooperate. From my short meteorologist career I knew we would have a small gap of no rain in the morning, so I met these guys here and we speed up the hill for the shortest but BEST session ever (you’ll see why soon).

From tiny tantrums (thank you Louie) to the rain clouds spilling open we had all the moments, and I think my favourite was when Brad dropped down on one knee and asked Chelsea to marry him! WHAT A TIME. Chelsea was completely shocked and the JOY was real. Apparently she’s a hard one to surprise, so Brad, you did gooooooood.

I’m going to let the photos tell the rest of the story, but Chelsea it was an absolute honour and joy to photograph one your best moments for you. This job really is the coolest.
